For us, this project is deeply personal. It’s amplifies stories that often go unheard, shining a light on the transformative power of art, and challenging the status quo. Each design is a tribute to women who broke barriers, redefined creativity, and paved the way for others to follow.

Let us take you on a journey through the inspirations that brought this collection to life.

01.

N4 – Inspired by Corita Kent

Corita Kent, a nun and artist from the 1960s, used art as a tool for activism and social change. Known for blending pop art with messages of peace and love, she left behind timeless wisdom for creatives. This design is based on her fourth rule from the Ten Rules for Artists:

"Consider everything an experiment. To this, we added a call to action for the modern creative: "Embrace uncertainty. There is no right way to create something. Step out of the comfort zone. Freedom and fluidity, it comes within."

It’s a reminder that experimentation and breaking free from the familiar are essential parts of the creative journey.

02.

I Am an Instrument – Inspired by Patti Smith

Patti Smith, a legendary singer-songwriter, artist, and writer, is known for her profound ability to merge vulnerability with power.

This design draws inspiration from her memoir Just Kids, where she reflects on youthful curiosity and artistic discovery: "Where does it all lead? What will become of us? These were our young questions, and young answers were revealed. It leads to each other. We become ourselves."

This poster is a celebration of becoming, an ode to the evolving self and the connections that shape our creative paths.

03.

Super Reflective – Inspired by Margherita Sabbioneda and Andrea Popyordanova

These visionary graphic designers and illustrators challenge the status quo by encouraging deep reflection. Their words inspire us to question the familiar and push boundaries:

"We cannot question what is familiar if we keep staring right at it. To challenge what's established, we hold up a mirror against it. Now we can see what we couldn't before, the image is skewed, it looks unfamiliar."

04.

Make Peace – Inspired by Paula Scher

Paula Scher is an american graphic designer and artist. This design is based on her reflections:

"Nothing I make is either entirely new or totally original. Everything I have designed has been influenced by something or someone else. What may make the work seem more original is that I tend to avoid trends so."

This piece encourages acceptance of external influences while maintaining individuality, a powerful message for creators navigating a trend-driven world.
